Dragon Eye Burst Flat
RG742FM is there for all the players who find the six strings of RGA42FM too limiting. Like the 42FM, 742 was introduced at 2017 NAMM. Also like the six-stringed variant, this one comes in Dragon Eye Burst Flat (Blue Lagoon Burst Flat is not available for this model).
RGA742FM has a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany back and two-piece flamed maple top (with white binding). It is paired with a standard maple neck, with Wizard III profile and smooth finish in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. The fingerboard is a pretty standard one (in terms of RG and its related series), featuring 1.69" nut, jumbo frets and 15.75" radius.
Quantum pickups, seven-saddled fixed bridge and die-cast tuners complete this budget seven-stringer.
