Together with RG range, S series has helped shape the face of today`s rock and metal scene more than any other series on the market. Elegant, great sounding and with ultimate playability, S guitars have stood the test of time and are now in 29th year of continuous production. Hundreds of models have passed through the lineup over the years. Today, in 2016, though smaller than the ubiquitous RG, S series looks and sounds better than ever. 2016 winter NAMM has brought a pair of new S six-stringers, one in the Prestige division and one in the regular S division.
S621QM belongs to the standard S series lineup and is series` new weapon of mass destruction. It kicks off with a solid and beautifully sculpted body made of mahogany back and quilt maple top. Standard maple neck with Wizard III profile is connected to the body with a modern four-bolt joint. 24-fret fingerboard on its top features jumbo frets, 1.69" nut and 15.75" radius.
Set of two Quantum humbuckers offers a mighty, versatile tone, with coil splitting and parallel connection options (accessible via the five-position pickup switch). Second generation Gibraltar bridge and die-cast tuners complete this metal warrior.

What can I say for that wonderful guitar. Excellent looks, wonderful sound and great feel in the hands all combined in a very lightweight body.
