TV Pelham Blue
TV Pelham Blue series comes from Epiphone and it features limited numbers. It is made up of six Epiphone`s classics, all painted in the vintage TV Pelham Blue color scheme. TV Pelham Blue was first available in 1960s as a custom paint job option. Over the time, players of ordinary Epiphone guitars started requesting the gorgeous blue variants for their own guitars and basses and Epiphone introduced this stunning color scheme to the rest of the catalog. Today, Epiphone pays tribute to the classic custom guitars with elegant and classy TV Pelham Blue color. Among the six models included into this limited series, SG Custom w/Maestro bar is one. It comes with a classic double-cut body made of mahogany. It has beveled edges, flat top, set in neck joint and black pickguard on top. TV Pelham Blue is, naturally, the only color scheme available for this model and it comes with high gloss finish. Bridge section is equipped with a nickel-plated Locktone tune-o-matic bridge, Maestro vibrato bar and trapezoid tailpiece. Pickups are Epiphone Pro-Buckers. Pro-Bucker 3 is in the bridge and Pro-Bucker 2 in the neck position. Volume knobs are equipped with push-pull switches for coil splitting. Two tone knobs and three-way toggle pickup switch complete the controls unit. Neck on this model is a standard one. It is made of mahogany and equipped with 1960s slim taper contour in the back. On it`s top, Epiphone installs a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo-sized frets, 1-11/16" string nut, pearloid block inlays and 12" radius. Grover tuners are installed on the classic headstock in the 3+3 pattern.
