Les Paul was first introduced in early 1950s and ever since it has remained one of the most important and popular electric guitars in the world. Numerous incarnations through Gibson and Epiphone and countless copies and Les Paul-like models around the world have helped the cult stay alive. Today, Epiphone comes with a new installment in the series, it is called Les Paul Standard Plus Top PRO. It has an exceptionally wide color palette, as it is available in five options: Wine Red, Heritage Cherry Burst, Honey Burst, Trans Blue and Vintage Sunburst. All of them are paired with chrome hardware. Body is made of mahogany back and flame maple top. Top is bound in creme binding and equipped with a plastic pickguard. Bridge on this model is a tune-o-matic made by Locktone and it`s tailpiece is a stopbar, also made by Locktone. Pickups are made by Epiphone and they are Pro-Bucke-2 in neck and Pro-Bucker-3 in the bridge. Controls include separate volume and tone knobs with push-pull coil splitting switches on volume knobs. Neck is made of mahogany and it is set in. Rosewood fingerboard features 22 medium jumbo frets, trapezoid inlays, 12" radius and 1.68" wide string nut.
