The magnificent BTB1905E and BTB1906E reinforce the BTB Premium series. They bring stunning looks, ultimate playability, and unprecedented tonal versatility.
Ibanez`s BTB series is dedicated to the exploration and pursuit of the tonal versatility and quality. No efforts and no materials are spared in the process, making sure only the finest and the best solutions reach the stores and players. Standard and Premium models of the BTB series come in single-cut and double-cut variants, as well as with a wide range of electronics and tonewood combinations. The new Premium class flagship models, the marvelous BTB1905E and BTB1906E arrive with the first days of autumn. Both axes have double-cut bodies, neck-through construction and mighty Aguilar pickups. The new 1900s take the BTB Premium series crown from the equally impressive 1800s which made their debut earlier this year. 1800s, too, were released only in five and six-string variants.
Ibanez BTB1905E is, as its name suggests, a five-stringed model. In absence of a four-stringer, it is the 1900s basic model. Some of the highlights include a 9-piece through-body neck made of bubinga and wenge, superb Aguilar soapbar pickups, gold-plated Monorail V bridge and Gotoh tuning machines. The color palette is currently limited to Brown Topaz Burst, with more options expected once the model takes off. Ibanez BTB1906E continues the luxurious six-string bass trend, which started this January with Bass Workshop BTB846SC. Like the five-stringed 1905E, 1906E rocks a nine-piece bubinga/wenge neck, passive Aguilar pickups, Monorail V bridge, and Gotoh tuners. Brown Topaz Burst with low gloss finish and gold-plated hardware is the only available color option.
