2018 Washburn Models

New Wasburns are ready for 2018!

2018 Washburn Models

With a small lineup of new models and a strong focus on acoustics and bluegrass instruments, Washburn celebrates 135 years in the guitar business.

Washburn was founded in 1883 in Chicago, Illinois, where it is still headquartered. Only a handful of US brands have comparable tradition and history. After many ups and downs, Washburn looks great today and is on the rise again. The new 2018 lineup brings nine new models, five regular acoustics, three bluegrass instruments, and one signature electric six-string. Timeless Collection, made up of both acoustics and bluegrass instruments, brings models with soundboards made of over-140-years-old reclaimed UK Fir wood. All Timeless models come with a hardshell case and a nail extracted from the same fir, authenticating its age. The centerpiece of the 2018 collection is, of course, the 135th anniversary RSD135-D. The luxurious steel-stringer draws its inspiration from the prewar dreadnoughts. Remaining acoustics include TCP130SWK, RSG100SWEVSK, WCG700SWEK, and AGM5K. Bluegrass trio is made up of three mandolins – TCMF43SWK, TCMA43SWK, and TCMC43SWK. PXV-MS2FR is a brand new signature V guitar made for Stryper`s Michael Sweet.
