BTB is one of the biggest electric bass series made by Ibanez, as well as one of the most popular among the players worldwide. Standard, Premium, and Ibanez Bass Workshop sub-series are currently available, with Prestige currently being off limits. BTB1906E is a brand new 2017 model. Together with its five-string sibling, 1906E is the current flagship model of the BTB range. It offers neck-through-body construction, 35" scale, Aguilar electronics, and top-shelf hardware. Brown Topaz Burst Low Gloss is the only available color option. The main construction features include a 9-piece bubinga/wenge neck (BTB profile), mahogany body wings, flame maple body top, and 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Other important appointments include Gotoh tuning machines, fifth-generation Monorail bridge, and Aguilar`s DCB pickups.
