Gibson USA Explorer is the Explorer of all Explorers. It is the bearer of the heavy metal torch and the epitome of extreme music. This one comes with a solid, single-cut body made of mahogany in it`s entirety. It`s flat on top and has no binding. The iconic white pickguard is, however, still there. This Explorer comes exclusively in black color with high gloss finish. Bridge section on this one is a classic two-piece, consisting of a tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar. A set of six Grover tuners is installed at the opposite side of the guitar. Both the tuners and bridge section are plated in chrome. Set of two open-coil humbuckers is featured on this explorer. Traditional construction includes a set in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
