i think this is a very worth guitar because the prica is so cheap with $200 you can own a same tone with gibson guitar as well the quality is nearly perfect to compare with gibson les paul but the great is this lp100 has a lighter weight than a gibson les paul which means you can play a long time in a show without feel a back pain this is a valuable guitar for a low budget very impressive i've played it since 2004 until now still have a same quality and i enjoyed it as well

At 300$, this is a steal. Everything I expected from Epiphone making a truely genuine les paul. The sound is great, the headstock has a nice bolt on neck look, the ebony finish looks as if it just came out of the shop that day, cool looking volume knobs and the chrome plate finishes. The only thing I would say is the strings will need to be replaced. Mine are a little worn, probably thats what they give you to start but no big deal. Stays in tune all the time and plays very easilly. found it for $294 on http://keepplayingthemusic.com/shop.php?c=MusicalInstrument&n=11965861&i=B0002CZUU6&x=Epiphone_LP_100_Les_Paul_Electric_Guitar_Ebony
