Vertigo series is one of the pillars of the Fernandes catalog and it currently contains four models. Top model of the line is the exclusive Elite JP model. Below it, there are Vertigo Elite, Deluxe and X models. Some of the most standard features include flat top bodies with vintage styling, 24-3/4" scale, 22-fret fingerboards and double-humbucker pickups combos. Style-wise, bodies of the Vertigo series look like a clever mix of Jaguar and Firebird features, with Firebird side of the family prevailing in the body construction area. Vertigo Deluxe is made of mahogany and has a set in neck joint. Two-piece bridge unit is fronted by the standard EMG 81/60 combo. Set in neck is made of mahogany and it features 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

I have an older natural flame top deluxe. No pickguard has a Tom bridge and came stock with seymour duncan full shred sh-5 pickups. My other guitars are an ESP eclipse standard and an ESP phoenix ii, as well as a prs baritone. First of all the vertigo is one of my favorite guitars out of the lot to play. Great balance and feel. The tuners aren't that great should replace them but too lazy and use my other guitars for recording and what not. Cracked the headstock after years of abuse had it fixed still play it all the time. Had the plastic nut replaced kept the pickups and love them. The finish and frets were set awesome the action is great. Guitar is heavy but not too heavy with perfect balance. Would totally buy another and had a new white one for a little while decided I diddnt like the painted ones if they came back out with the flamed tops I would have one in a heart beat. Wish you could get the elite wiwith sustained BUT WITHOUT the floyd. Great guitar very playable and reliable might need a few upgrades like some gotah locking tuners but none the less a very solid guitar
