Monterey Deluxe Tremolo Sustainer is one of several Tremolo models in the Monterey series. Monterey Tremolo Deluxe model is equipped with the mighty EMG 81 and 60 humbuckers, while the Deluxe Tremolo Sustainer comes with EMG 81 in the bridge and Fernandes Sustainer in the neck position. This combination of pickups allows the player to retain all the ferocity and chugging lows of the 81 and adds the fantastic and versatile Sustainer pickup to the mix. This results in fantastic versatility and super strong tone. Besides the master volume, master tone and the three-way toggle pickup switch, this model features two Sustainer mini switches. Body of this model is made of mahogany back with maple cap. Neck is also made of mahogany and it is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
