Troy Van Leeuwen is one of the younger and more recent members of the Fender signature family. Though recently adopted into the tribe, Troy is a renowned and highly acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, and one of the most important figures of the alternative rock/metal scene in past twenty years. His signature Jazzmaster kicks off with a solid, flat alder body and C-shaped maple neck. Beyond the iconic Fender base, Troy`s Jazzmaster also features a pair of Jazzmaster single-coil pickups (American Vintage series singles) with a slightly customized controls unit, two-piece bridge unit (Adjust-o-Matic with the floating tremolo tailpiece), 21-fret rosewood fingerboard (creme binding, vintage frets, block inlays, 1.65" wide synthetic bone nut) and a set of six in-line tuners on a big headstock.
