Hellraiser range is welcoming a new series in 2015 - the fantastic Hellraiser Passive. Fans of the regular Hellraiser range and the wicked tone EMG pickups provided for these metal classics, should not be worried as Brimstone humbuckers (designed, developed and hand-wound in Schecter`s Custom Shop) offer every bit of fury and savagery which made the Hellraiser a cult series. Like every time before, C-1 is the basic model of the series and the standard to compare and evaluate other members of the lineup. Accordingly, C-1 Passive kicks off the Hellraiser passive lineup. Solid and double-cut body comes in two color variants - Satin Black and Black Cherry. Satin Black has all-mahogany body and pearloid black/white binding reminiscent of the Blackjack series, while the Black Cherry has a quilt maple top and abalone black/white binding in the vein of classic Hellraiser range. As all basic Hellraiser C-1 models, this one also has a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction installed on the carved top. This time around, the faithful EMGs have been replaced by Schecter`s own passive Brimstone humbuckers. But, the controls have remained the same (vol/vol/tone (push/pull)/three-position blade switch combo). Three-piece mahogany neck with C profile and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is also a classic Hellraiser feature. Satin Black C-12 Passive has pearloid Gothic Cross inlays, while it`s Black Cherry twin has abalone Gothic Cross inlays. List of the main features also includes Grover tuners, 25-1/2" scale, 14" fingerboard radius and 1.653" TUSQ nut.
