Hellraiser range is, finally, expanding into the passive electronics department with 2015 Schecter Passive series. As all recently introduced Schecter lines, this one comes with six and seven-string models (eight-strings are expected in near future). Hellraiser C-1 FR Passive Left Handed is the basic lefty with a Floyd Rose bridge. Unlike the Hellraiser Special, standard Hellraiser and Extreme sections, this one comes with the 1500 series Floyd Rose. In front of it, Schecter installs a set of their own pickups - hand-wound Brimstone humbuckers. These pickups are oriented towards heavier side of rock and metal and, despite the fact that they`re passive, offer a hot, ferocious tone. Of course, the push/pull switch mounted on the tone knob draws out the softer and and smoother side of these bad boys. Along with the master tone, there are two volume knobs and the series standard three-position blade switch. Modern C-1 body is made entirely of mahogany (Satin Black) or Mahogany base with quilt maple top (Black Cherry). Both versions feature a set in mahogany neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top. Grover tuners, 25-1/2" scale, 1.625" wide TUSQ nut, 14" neck radius and Gothic Cross inlays (pearloid variant with satin black paint and abalone with black cherry) are also found on both variants.
