Schecter catalog is growing fast and is getting very versatile updates for 2012. Some of the most intricate novelties come from a brand new line of Electric/Acoustic Collection. These models include Hellraiser Solo 6 E/A and Custom Solo 6 E/A. The latter comes with a fully hollow single cutaway body made of mahogany back and sides and flamed maple top. The top is bound in creme and equipped with an offset triangular sound hole. There are no pickguards, as is the tradition with Schecter guitars. This model is available in dark vintage sunburst with gloss finish. The bridge is provided by Fishman, it is a tune-o-matic with a stoptail bar and chrome plating. Within the bridge, a piezo pickup and powerchip preamp are integrated. As for regular pickup combo, Custom Solo 6 E/A sports two Seymour Duncan active humbucker. They are controlled through master volume, master tone and three-way toggle switch for regular pickups. Piezo features master volume, master tone (which also splits the EMG81) and a three-way mini switch. The neck is made of three pieces of mahogany and features a set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of ebony and it is equipped with mother of pearl split crown inlays and 22 medium frets. Other features include: 24-3/4" scale, chrome hardware and Schecter locking tuners. Custom Solo 6 E/A currently comes in dark vintage sunburst with gloss finish.
