Speed, precision, power, control and style are words that connect Lotus cars and Schecter guitars. For the fall of 2012, Schecter Guitars have joined forces with Lotus AJR team in American Le Mans series and the result is Solo 6 Lotus AJR Custom Limited Edition guitar. It is a guitar based on regular Schecter Solo 6 and it will be made in only 50 copies. Body of this model is made of mahogany in it`s entirety, it`s solid and single cut. Top is carved and cutaway is done with ultra access, as it is on many luxurious Schecters. Color scheme on this limited Solo 6 is Lotus characteristic black base with golden details. Also, center of the body features number 23 and British flag. Bridge section on this model comes with a two-piece bridge. Tune-o-matic bridge sits in the front, while the stoptail bar is in the back. Both are plated in gold. Pickups are Duncan Designed humbuckers, HB102b and HB101n. Split volume knobs with push-pull knobs and master tone are accompanied with a three-way toggle pickup switch. Three-piece mahogany neck is set and finished in gloss, like the body. Headstock of this neck is equipped with a set of 6 gold-plated Grover tuners. Neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium frets. Dot inlays mark the fret positions. Scale measures 24-3/4" in length.
