Several years ago, Schecter was one of the first major brands to include seven-stringed guitars into the standard catalog. Other brands followed the lead and now even $200 seven-string axes exist. Recently, Schecter has decided to push the envelope a little bit further by welcoming eight-string models onto the roster. 2016 Banshee Elite 8 is one of the brightest examples. It kicks off with a solid and double-cut body made of swamp ash wings and maple/walnut neck. The neck is equipped with ultra access cutaway, contoured heel and Ultra Thin C profile. On its top, there`s a 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Schecter USA SuperCharger Mach-8 pickups make sure this giant never runs out of steam, while the Hisphot bridge and locking Schecter tuners keep the strings in check.
