Banshee Elite is a brand new section of the Banshee range which aims at pros and players who`d like to have a pro level guitar without having to spend ridiculous amounts of money on custom shop models. Offering six, seven and eight stringers, right and left-oriented versions and fixed and Floyd Rose bridge variants, Banshee kicks off with one of the most thoroughly planned out lineups ever introduced. Banshee Elite 8 is one of only two eight-strings (as there is no Floyd Rose version for the eight-stringed elite Banshees) in the lineup, covering the right-handed players. Right off the bat, it`s clear that this axe is made for the heaviest and toughest jobs in metal. Heavy duty hardware (eight-saddled Hipshot bridge and Schecter`s locking tuners), brutal pickups (Schecter`s hand-wound SuperCharger Mach 8 humbuckers with extra large pole pieces are featured in both the bridge and neck positions), extended 28" scale and fast and spacious 24-fret ebony fingerboard over the thin and ergonomic neck raise the stakes among the pro-level metal axes. All this would, of course, be irrelevant if there weren`t for the magnificent base (tonewoods selection and construction quality). Swamp ash wings and multi-ply maple/walnut center (maple-walnut neck) comprise the body. On the top, there`s a gorgeous two-piece flamed maple cap with a slight curve.
