Schecter Guitars have always been a left-handed-player-friendly brand, offering a vast majority of their models in the left hand versions as well. This cool tradition carries on into the 2015 with the new models and series. Banshee Elite 6 Left Handed is just one of many lefties in this year`s catalog. This magnificent banshee debuts along with the first lineup of the brand new Banshee Elite line. It is clear from the start that Schecter means serious business here, as neck-through-body construction, hand-wound Custom Shop pickups, ebony fingerboards and walnut/maple necks come into play. Swamp ash body with a gorgeous flamed maple top is combined with an ultra thin neck made of several laminates of maple and walnut. Neck runs through the body, while the ultra access cutaway makes it easier to reach the 24th fret on the super fast ebony fingerboard. Behind the 24th fret lie the gems of this series - two hand-wound USA Supercharger humbuckers (these are hand wound in the Schecter Custom Shop). Simple controls layout includes master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch (pickups selector also doubles as the coil-splitting switch). Hipshot hardtail bridge with string-through construction concludes the specs list.
