New Banshee Elite series is a long-expected addition to already hugely popular Banshee line. With this new and innovative sub-series, Banshee can finally compete in the same league with Hellraisers and Blackjacks. Offering passive electronics, neck-through construction, hand-wound pickups, 1500 series Floyd Rose bridges and a new set of tonewoods, Banshee Elite aims at rock and metal guitarists who seek the genuine Schecter quality, tone and playability. Solid and double-cut body is made of swamp ash wings with maple/walnut neck in the middle. Two-piece flamed maple cap covers the body. Multi-ply maple/black binding, glossy lacquer over the unpainted wood and black hardware grace the top. Mentioned 1500 series Floyd Rose bridge is present on this model as well, the left-handed variant though. In it`s front, there is the brutal SuperCharger in the bridge position, while the neck position is reserved for the pride of Schecter`s pickups department - Sustainiac Retrofit SLS w/Aux-2. Regular volume and tone knobs are followed by a pair of mini-switches (two-way on/off and three-way mode switch for the Sustainiac) and the regular three-way toggle pickup switch. Maple/walnut neck features the super slim C profile and ultra access cutaway, while the ebony fingerboard on its top has 24 extra jumbo frets with offset dot inlays.
