Banshee is one of the most recently introduced series of electric guitars in Schecter catalog. It`s main objective is to draw in the fans of the classic 1980s Superstrat guitars. Simple, uncompromising and supremely built Banshee models guarantee a fantastic delivery and superior quality. For 2014, several new Banshee models were introduced and this is one of them. Solid and double-cut body of this passive six-stringer is the series standard. It`s made of alder base and quilted maple top. Strength, thickness of tone and quick response are the key qualities of this combo. Though not as tight as mahogany`s, low end tones of alder`s low end is a bit brighter and has more bite. Natural bound body is offered in Trans Black Burst with gloss finish. Floyd Rose 1000 series locking bridge is installed on the top. In the front, there are two Seymour Duncan Nazgul humbuckers with passive electronics. Master volume and master tone knobs and a three-position blade switch comprise the controls. Nazguls can be split into single-coils through a push/pull switch. Maple/walnut neck is fit with a thin C contour in the back, while the top is reserved for the series standard 24-fret ebony fingerboard (24 extra jumbo frets, offset dot inlays, 1.625" string nut and compound 12"-16" radius). Schecter`s locking tuners complete the specs list.
