Banshee series is a brand new one for the 2013 edition of Schecter catalog. It currently consists of two models, Banshee 6 FR Passive and Banshee 6 FR Active. The Active Banshee is mostly the same instrument as the passive one, with the exception of EMG pickups installed on it. It is the legendary 81/85 combo with master volume, master tone with push/pull switch and a three-way toggle switch. Floyd Rose bridge is installed behind the pickups and it`s matched with a locking string nut. Body of this model is made of alder base and flamed maple top. Top is bound in creme binding and finished in gloss. Neck is made of maple and walnut, it`s bolted to the body and topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
