SGR By Schecter is a beginner series made for younger players who are planning to buy their first guitar. Also, the SGR models are perfect as practice and backup guitars. 006 SGR is the series` basic model. It is a solid and double-cut six-string with a cropped 006 body made of basswood and bolted neck made of maple. Gloss Black with painted headstock is the only color option. Maple neck is surprisingly fast and comfortable (Thin C profile was taken from SGR`s more expensive siblings), and covered with a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Pair of Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers provides enough power for inexperienced players to explore even the heavier forms of rock music. Simple string-through-body tune-o-matic bridge and Schecter tuners keep 006`s tuning and intonation in check.
