C-6 is a new series introduced into the standard section of the Schecter catalog. It is the new basic series, as it contains opening class beginner guitars. It is the first time in history of Schecter that such series is a part of the standard catalog. Currently, the only model in this series is the C-6 deluxe, a solid and double-cut guitar with standard 25-1/2" scale, Schecter hardware and electronics and a bolt-on neck. The MSRP for this model is set at very affordable $349. Body of this basic six-stringer is made of basswood in it`s entirety and is paired with a maple neck (this is the most standard combo in the beginner class). On the top, Schecter installs a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through-body construction. Schecter`s Diamond Plus humbuckers are passive and equipped with the basic controls unit (master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch). Maple neck rocks the standard thin C contour in the back and has the standard 14" radius. Rosewood fingerboard has 24 extra jumbo frets, 1.653" wide graphite nut and simple dot inlays. Tuning machines are made by Schecter, as well.
