Private Stock 30th Anniversary Custom 24 is a super luxurious guitar with a solid, double-cut body made of the finest tonewoods available to Paul Reed Smith. It belongs to the four-piece series dedicated to the celebration of the brand`s 30th anniversary. The best mahogany is used for the back and only the most beautiful pieces of figured maple can make it onto the carved top of this gorgeous six-stringer. Top is bound in elegant creme binding and fit with a traditional PRS curve. Bridge section is fit with a gold-plated PRS tremolo bridge with string-through construction. Though not a double-locking system, this PRS trem can challenge many a locking trems out there in terms of both ability and stability. Pickups in it`s front come in two variants, as players can choose between a 58/15 combo and an 85/15 pack. Master volume, master tone with a push/pull switch and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls unit. Mahogany neck is fit with a standard Pattern contour in the back and a Madagascar rosewood fingerboard on the top. 24-fret fingerboard has paua bird inlays. Lavish paua and abalone decorations are also found on the rosewood headstock.
