USA Select B models update has been introduced this January at the NAMM show. There`s a total of four models. Two of them feature seven strings and two come with eight strings. Both the seven and eight stringer have their regular and deluxe variants. However, specs list is basically the same for all four models, with the exception of neck-through construction for deluxe models. Materials are the same, pickups are the same and hardware appointments, as well. USA Select B8MG is the regular eight-string variant and it comes with a solid, double-cut body made of alder. Beveled edges, satin finish and contoured back are featured on the body. Bridge section features series standard hardtail bridge with string-through-body construction. Eight adjustable saddles are featured on this one. Pickups are made by EMG and come in H/H configuration, which is the series standard. This axe has EMG 808 active humbuckers. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the electronics. Maple neck is bolted to the body on this one and it`s topped with a standard 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Jackson installs a set of Jackson-branded Gotoh tuners on the headstock.
