USA Select range has been updated with four new models for 2013. All of the models were introduced at the NAMM show in Anaheim, Ca, this January. B7MG has two variants, the regular one with a bolt-on neck and the deluxe with through-body neck. In this article, we will review the deluxe version. It features a whole lot of identical appointments with the regular variant, for example the body shape and material. It is made with modern double-cut body and the material is alder. Alder is becoming more and more popular among metal-oriented guitars and it threats to dethrone the mahogany. Beveled edges and satin finish give this one a sinister look. Bridge section is equipped with a regular hardtail bridge with strings running through the body. It is painted in black and has seven adjustable saddles. Pickups are made by EMG. 81 with seven-string range is in the bridge position and a regular 707 is found in the neck position. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the electronics. Maple neck runs through the body of this model and it`s topped with a standard 24-fret ebony fingerboard.
