USA Select is a series of exclusive Jackson models. It features a wide range of guitars with high quality tonewoods and hardware appointments. Also, this series can be viewed as a tier, if one chooses to consider Soloist, Dinky, Warrior and RR as series. Anyhow, the characteristics of USA Select include Top shelf tonewood selection, Original Floyd Rose bridges on models with double locking tremolos and a selection of EMG, DiMarzio and Seymour Duncan pickups. B7 is one of several seven-stringers from this series. It comes with a Soloist-like body made of alder with flame maple top. Top side is arched and carved. Bolt-on neck joint, contoured back and stripped down styling characterize the body of this model. Bridge section is equipped with a Jackson hardtail bridge with string-through construction. DiMarzio D-Activators are installed in both the bridge and neck positions. Master volume, master tone and three-way toggle pickup switch complete the controls unit. One-piece maple neck is bolted to the body and it`s topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard. 24 jumbo-sized frets do not feature standard inlays, only side dots. Radius is compound and it varies from 12" to 16". This 27"-scaled guitar has a set of seven Jackson die-cast tuners set in 3+4 pattern.
