Jackson`s Pro series is one of the mos successful lines of metal-oriented axes in the industry and it is thoroughly rebuilt for fall 2012. Eight new models are being introduced in the seasonal updates pack for Pro Series. Four of them are V-shaped and four have double cut contours. Two are Soloist and two Dinky models. DK2MQ is a Dinky guitar and it shares a majority of specs with DK2M, also introduced in this update. DK2MQ is a double cut, solid bodied guitar made of alder. Bolt-on construction and quilted maple top are also applied on this model. Transparent Red, Transparent Black and Chlorine Burst are color options available for this model. All are finished in high gloss. In the bridge section Jackson installs recessed Floyd Rose tremolo system. Floyd Rose bridge is paired with a locking nut at the opposite side of the scale. Pickups are made by Seymour Duncan and the H/H combo for this model includes Zebra JB TB4 in the bridge and Zebra '59 in the neck. Master volume and master tone knobs are accompanied by a five-position blade switch. Positions two and four split the pickups into single coils. Neck is made of three pieces of maple and it`s bolted to the body. Speed contour is featured in the back, along with oil finish. Fingerboard can be either rosewood or maple. Both have the same specs: 24 jumbo frets, offset dot inlays, compound 12"-16" radius and 1-11/16" wide locking nut. Tuning machines are made by Jackson.
