Pro series is one of the most distinguished, as well as most acclaimed lines in Jackson catalog. It deals with upscale guitars and basses, able to cope with practice, recording and performing duties on a long term basis. Dinky section of the series is being completely reorganized for 2015 with eight new models, and Pro Dinky DK2QM is one of them. It comes with a well known and tested alder/maple base - back of the body made of alder with quilt maple top and plain maple neck (fingerboard is also made of maple). In combination with the mighty Seymour Duncan pickups (Zebra JB in the bridge and Zebra `59 in the neck), these tonewoods offer a staggering range of tonal possibilities. Five-position blade switch also allows the polarity changes for an even wider range of choices. Behind the marvelous SD humbuckers, Jackson installs a Floyd Rose double-locking bridge with six saddles and black paint all over. Maple neck is bolted to the body through a standard bolt-on joint, and features also standard speed contour in the back (Jackson`s speed neck is among the fastest and most comfortable in the industry). Maple fingerboard on the top comes with a set of 24 jumbo-sized frets, black dot inlays in offset positions, and a compound 12"-16" radius.
