Paul Stanley and Ibanez have a long lasting relationship, as Paul has played Iceman and destroyer models, among many others, over the past several decades. On and off, a Paul Stanley signature series has been present in the catalog. For 2015, the collaboration of these two giants of rock music resumes once again. Two models are being introduced into the starting lineup and PS120 is the top one. It comes with a now classic Iceman body made of mahogany back and maple top. Top is bound in a sophisticated mix of creme and abalone binding. This sits well against the black paint of the body and chrome color of the pickguard and hardware. The third generation of the Full tune bridge is featured on the maple top (basically, this is an age old tune-o-matic/stoptail combo with a custom tailpiece behind the stopbar). Seymour Duncan Custom 5TM in the bridge and 59 in the neck provide more than enough horsepower to challenge even the most vicious metal axes out there, while still retaining the full spectrum of tonal options. Three-piece mahogany neck is fit with a custom designed PS profile in the back and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard on the top.
