Tempest is one of the most famous and most iconic Schecter guitar shapes and concepts. It was imagined as a pure rock tone machine with dual humbuckers, simple construction, 22-frets and set in neck. At one point in time, Tempest also sailed the stormy metal seas through the Hellraiser Tempest variant (a successful sail it was). But, for 2015, Tempest series is going back to its rock roots with the revamped Tempest Custom. Timeless beauty of the double-cut Tempest is bound to break many a six-string lover`s hearts in the gorgeous new Vintage White dress with black binding around the carved top and chrome hardware against black plastics. Body of this beauty is made of mahogany base and the plain maple top (the classic Tempest combo). Standard two-piece unit is featured in the bridge section, while the pickups combo is now made up of two Schecter USA Pasadena humbuckers with chrome-plated covers. Split volume knobs, a master tone knob (with push/pull switch) and the three-way toggle pickup selector are found in the controls unit. Set in mahogany neck rocks the soft V profile in the back and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard on the top. Schecter tuners on the vintage symmetrical headstock wrap the specs list.
