S-II is a concept that leans on the cult S-1 and offers pretty much the same philosophy and approach, but with a slightly different and enhanced body design. Solid and double-cut body rocks the mahogany base with an elegant flamed maple top. Beveled top, asymmetrical cutaways and ultra access contour of the lower cutaway distinguish the S-II from it`s predecessor, giving the classic SG a bit more of a Strat vibe. on the flamed maple top, there is the classic two-piece bridge unit with tune-o-matic bridge in the front and stoptail bar in the back. S-II Custom comes with a pair of hand-wound Schecter Pasadena humbuckers with chrome-plated covers and a basic controls unit (master volume, master tone with a push/pull switch and a 3-way toggle pickup selector). Multi-ply creme binding and a small plastic pickguard complete the body. Mahogany neck is made of three pieces of wood and S-II Custom is one of few Schecter models with a soft V neck profile. Bound ebony fingerboard has 22 extra jumbo frets, MOP block inlays, a 1.653" wide TUSQ nut and a compound 12"-16" radius. Chrome-plated Schecter tuners close the specs list.
