AS series features a cross over between the worlds of yesterday and today. Vintage styling of Ibanez Hollow Body section of the catalog has been updated, so these guitars can appeal more to the players of modern music. All in all, these are all-round semi-hollows with set neck construction and active electronics. AS73 is one of three models named AS73 in this series and shares a lot of common traits with the other two. It`s semi-hollow body is made of maple and it`s paired with a set mahogany neck. Neck is equipped with Artcore contour in the back and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Tune-o-matic bridge is backed by a stoptail bar and it`s fronted by a set of two active humbuckers.
