AS73 is one of the veteran models of the Hollow Body range. Traditionally, it is housed in the main Artcore series, as its main semi-hollow model. ES-like body proportions, fast neck, deep cutaway, and amazingly versatile tone (courtesy of the stunning Classic Elite passive/ceramic pickups) have made this beauty a player`s favorite. The new incarnation of the Ibanez classic was introduced at this year`s NAMM, along with the rest of the novelties. The color palette includes Olive Metallic, Transparent Cherry Red, and Tobacco Brown. Main construction features include a double-cut archtop body (maple back/sides/top, white binding, black pickguard), a mahogany neck (AS profile, set-in joint), a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.69" nut, 24.7" scale, block inlays), ART-1 bridge, Classic Elite humbuckers, and chrome-plated tuners.
