Empire P-90 might be a familiar model to the players who were acquainted with Richmond Guitars, now a defunct Godin sub-brand located in Richmond Quebec. It was a part of their mildly successful Empire series. It`s been refreshed and updated for its debut in the regular Godin catalog.
Empire P-90 is a solid-bodied guitar with a beveled mahogany body and a set in mahogany neck (silver leaf maple body with poplar wings is also a viable option). The neck features a standard contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
Electronics section keeps it simple and easy to use, while delivering the killer vintage P-90 tone in its full glory (Godin Kingpin P-90 pickups). One-piece wrap around bridge and die-cast tuners complete this workhorse six-string.
