Empire series has been moved recently from Richmond to the standard Godin catalog. It still deals with affordable single-cut guitars made in LP fashion.
Empire HB is a solid-bodied guitar with a beveled top and super deep lower cutaway. The body is made of silver leaf maple center with poplar wings (P-90 model also features all-mahogany alternative, but the HB has only got the maple/poplar variant), while the set neck is made of mahogany. 22-fret fingerboard installed on the top of the neck, features 22 standard-sized frets, dot inlays, 1-11/16" nut and 12" radius.
Pair of Godin humbucker pickups is controlled through a simple LP-styled controls unit - one volume, one tone and a 3-way pickup selector. Wrap around bridge and die-cast tuners make sure the modest Empire HB stays in tune even through prolonged sessions.
