For example, 200 tier offers stock hardware/electronics, fancy flame/quilt tops, while 100 models represent a crossbreed of beginner and lower intermediate classes. LTD M-400 LH is a typical representative of the 400 tier (LTD`s upper intermediate series), coming in with a flat-top mahogany body w/bolt-on neck, EMG pickups, Floyd Rose bridge, and locking tuners. The color palette features only one option - Black Satin (black hardware, white neck binding, abalone inlays). Other notable features include a 3-piece maple neck, rosewood fingerboard (XJ frets, 25.5" scale, locking nut), Floyd Rose Special bridge, 81/85 EMG humbuckers, and Grover tuners.
