The super-modern FRX series offers in-your-face design, uncompromising tone, and genuine ESP build quality. Thus far, the bulk of the series was made up of tier 400 models made with six or seven strings. The trend continues in 2018, with the new LTD roster having a pair of FRX 400 models - a six-stringed 400 and a seven-stringed 407. The new FRX-400 comes in with a set-thru neck, standard 25-1/2" scale, active electronics, and stealthy livery (black satin finish, black hardware, black plastics, a matching headstock). Other notable features include a sculpted mahogany body, a 3-piece maple neck, a 24-fret pau ferro fingerboard (1.65" nut, 25.5" scale, offset dot inlays), a Floyd Rose Special bridge, EMG`s 81/60 humbuckers set, and Grover tuners.
