Warwick Corvette Standard FSC models are entirely made of sustainably harvested woods, and are certified for it. These models represent a revolution in the industry, for very few models are built in this way. Warwick chose one of it`s catalog corner stones, the Corvette model to introduce this environment-friendly way of instrument building. Corvette Standard FSC Certified 4 is a solid bodied, double cutaway electric bass with a body made of US swamp ash and wenge neck. The body top is flat and features no binding, pickguards or decorative top options. It is available in natural color with gloss finish in accordance with it`s environment-friendly origin. The bridge on this model is a Warwick two-piece bridge with four saddles and chrome plating. In the pickups department, active EMG single coil pickups are placed in both bridge and neck positions. They are controlled through active MEC two-way electronics. The neck is made of wenge and is connected to the body with a bolt-on joint. The fingerboard is also made of wenge. It features 24 jumbo frets with no position inlays. Other features include: 34" scale, Warwick tuning machines, Just-A-Nut III brass string nut and Warwick security locks.
