Brand new line of standard Corvettes made entirely of sustainable woods was uncovered at the NAMM Show this January in Anaheim, Ca. Corvette Standard FSC Certified 5 Fretless represents an extended range option for players who like their fingerboards with no frets. The body of this model is made of US swamp ash and combined with wenge neck. The top of this body features, as all other FSC Corvettes, no binding, no pickguards and no top wood. This model is offered only in natural color with gloss finish. In the bridge section, a Warwick two-piece option features top load construction, five saddles and chrome plating. Pickups on this model are active EMG single coils, built into the bridge and neck positions. They are controlled through active MEC two-way electronics. The neck on this fretless five-stringer is made of wenge and connected to the body via the bolt-on joint. The fingerboard is made of ebony and features a brass string nut. Other features include: 34" scale, Warwick tuners and chrome plated hardware.
