Warwick`s lines span over three main divisions, Warwick made in Germany, Rockbass made in Korea and Rockbass made in China. Korean and Chinese Warwicks are covering the lower portion of the market, while the German made models represent the best Warwick has to offer. There is also Alien, brand of acoustic basses made by Warwick. Chinese lineup of Rockbass instruments receives short scaled Corvette basic models, and this is the left handed variant of the four-stringed basic Corvette. It comes with a double cutaway alder body with a flat top. This instrument features no bindings or pickguards on it`s top. Also, there are no top wood veneers. Like the right handed version, this one also comes in black gloss and natural satin color options. The bridge is a Warwick two-piece with four saddles and chrome plating. In the pickup area, there is a choice between active and passive set of two MEC single coil pickups. Master volume and balance are common controls for both setups. In addition active pickups have treble and bass knobs, while the passive ones have split tone knobs. Neck is made of maple with ekanga veneer and features a bolt-on joint. Rosewood fingerboard has 24 frets and Just A Nut III brass string nut. 30-3/4" scale, Warwick tuners and Warwick security locks complete the specs list.
