APX700II-12 belongs to the APX series, one of Yamaha`s most popular members of the acoustic range. It is one of currently three available models and the only twelve-string option. Based on the six-stringed APX700II, this twelve-stringer sports the same materials, same electronics, and the same hardware. The only noticeable differences include neck width, string count and the number of tuning machines. Main features include a single-cut APX body (Yamaha`s original body style), 14th fret neck joint (dovetail), in-house electronics, and stock hardware. The color palette includes Natural Gloss and Black Gloss options. Both come i nwith chrome hardware and $865.00 price tags (MSRP). Other notable features include mahogany back & sides, solid spruce top, nato neck, 23-fret rosewood fingerboard, fixed rosewood bridge, and die-cast tuners.
