The popular APX series is there for players of electric gutiars who need an acoustic guitar on the stage and in the studio. Also, it aims at players who want a steel-string gutiar with more slender features and more playability. The current lineup has three models - APX600 (this one), APX700II-12, and APX700IIL. APX600 is the most affordable one, with the $470.00 price tag (that`s the MSRP, not the retail price). Main features include an APX-shaped body (Yamaha`s original design), medium 25" scale, in-house electronics, and stock hardware. Natural, Black, Vintage White, Old Violin Sunburst, and Oriental Blue Burst options are available. Other noteworthy features include nato back & sides, spruce soundboard, neck made of locally sourced tonewoods, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, fixed rosewood bridge, System64 electronics, and die-cast tuning machines.
