With only three models (in 830, 820, 800 tiers), super affordable prices, and high level of build quality, FGX line aims at the beginners and players who are on the hunt for a cheap amplified steel-stringer. FGX830, the series` current flagship model, comes in at $780.00 (that`s MSRP, not the retail price) and offers lainated rosewoods back & sides, solid spruce soundboard, 14th fret dovetial joint, 25-9/16" scale, and yamaha`s System66 electronics (piezo pickup/analog preamp). The color palette is limited to Natural and Black. Other notable features include a nato neck, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, fixed rosewood bridge, and die-cast tuners.
