Takamine Pro series is the upscale segment in Takamine catalog and it offers models with hefty price tags. TF450SMSB is a model from Nouveau & Santa Fe series and it comes with NEX shaped body with non-cutaway construction. Back and sides of this model are made of maple and the top is made of spruce. The top is bound in creme binding and equipped with single circle rosette around the sound hole. Also, this top is finished in high gloss. Bridge on this model is made of rosewood and equipped with belly shape. Cool Tube preamp system is installed in the electronics area on TF450SMSB. The neck is attached to the body via the dovetail joint and topped with rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.675" wide string nut complete the fingerboard.
