EG460SC is a model from the G series of Takamine`s catalog. It belongs to the NEX line of acoustic-electrics. It is a vast and versatile line containing models with one of the most comfortable body contours on the market. NEX is based upon the grand auditorium style and this particular NEX comes with a vintage-styled single cut body. It` made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Top panel on this model is equipped with multi-ply binding, black pickguard and abalone rosette. Vintage theme is completed with glossy finish over natural color scheme and gold plated tuning machines on the headstock. Bridges on Takamine models are predominantly made of rosewood and have belly contours, which is the case with this one as well. 20-fret fingerboard is also made of rosewood.
