DXMAE is a model from Martin`s X series which encompasses the most affordable models in Martin`s catalog. This series offers budget friendly solutions for players who can not afford expensive guitars, but still desire genuine Martin quality. DXMAE is a dreadnought shaped model with non-cutaway construction. Backs and sides on this model are made of mahogany, while the sound board is made of spruce. Top panel is finished in high gloss polish and equipped with tortoise shell pickguard. Sound hole is decorated with a subtle rosette. Electronics department on this model is equipped with Fishman Sonitone pickup. Neck is made of rust stratabond, which is one of the low budget substitutes for the standard materials, such as hardwood and mahogany. Bridge and 20-fret fingerboard are made of black richlite.
