Tim Armstrong Hellcat 12 Left Handed is a brand new model in line of Tim`s signature guitars from Fender. It is a twin model of the right handed Hellcat 12 and the two share the same specs list. This model comes with a concert-shaped body with non-cutaway design. It is only available in natural color and it is finished in satin all over, neck is also finished in satin. Fender installs a set of chrome-plated tuners on the headstock. Body is made of laminated mahogany back, sides and top. Top panel is bound in several layers of binding and it features a four-ply tortoise shell pickguard. In the bridge section, Fender installs a regular shaped bridge made of rosewood. It has a compensated saddle. Electronics on this hellcat consist of an under-saddle piezo pickup in combination with Fishman Isys III preamp mounted onto the side of the body. Preamp also features a chromatic tuner. Neck on this model is made of maple and it is topped with a fingerboard made of rosewood. This fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets, Hellcat inlays, 12" radius and 1.77" wide synthetic bone nut. Tim Armstrong Hellcat 12 Left Handed will be displayed at the Fender booth at the Summer NAMM Show 2012.
