Tim Armstrong and Fender are working together for years now, and Tim`s Hellcat signature models enjoy great success. This summer, the line of Tim`s signatures expands with two brand new models. These are right and left handed twelve stringers based on original six-stringed Hellcats already in production. Tim Armstrong HellCat 12 comes with line`s traditional concert-shaped body with non-cutaway design. Natural color is the only option available and this model is finished entirely in satin. Back, side and top panels on this model are made of laminated mahogany. Mahogany is the most popular material for single-wood bodies. Top panel is bound in several layers of binding and it comes with a characteristic four-ply tortoise shell pickguard. Sound hole rosette is a classic one. Bridge section on this model is made of a rosewood bridge with belly shape and compensated saddle. Saddle is made of synthetic bone and it matches the string nut on the opposite side of the scale. Electronics department is equipped with Fishman Isys pickup-preamp system with tuner. Neck is made of maple and it is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. It has 20 frets, Hellcat inlays, 12" radius and 1.77" wide synthetic bone nut. Chrome plated tuning machines and 25-1/3" scale complete the specs list This model will be featured on Fender`s booth at Summer NAMM Show 2012.
